  We were visiting my parents in Lake Wales, FL from our home outside of Cincinnati. The day before we were scheduled to drive home I noticed that a piece of the front air dam was dragging beneath the front of the car. I got online and found Weikert as the closest Ford dealership. The service guys told me they were swamped but if I was patient they promised me they would get my Focus ST on the lift for analysis. When I arrived they were watching out for me. As I checked in with the service guys they asked if I might consider trading my car for a new one. I laughed and told them no, that I had simply arrived to get my car road-worthy before we set out for Ohio. "We've got a couple of them just like yours that we're deeply discounting because they're last year's models", he replied. I knew I had time to kill so I asked them to send a sales guy over to show me what they had. Matt from the sales team showed up promptly and showed me a 2017 Focus RS and a 2017 Focus ST, both, as they had told me, significantly discounted off the sticker price. In the end the folks at Weikert offered me so much for my car in trade that I simply had to consider the deal. Twice I told Matt, "No thanks". Twice he thanked me for my time and wished me a safe trip home. The service guys refused any payment from me as compensation for their speedy remedy for my faulty air dam problem. They too wished me well and I set out for my parent's house. But their offer kept haunting my mind. My heart told me to head home with my beloved 2014 Focus ST. But my head kept telling me that I was an idiot if I did not call Matt and tell him we were coming back over. That's exactly what we did and we came home to Ohio wishing that we too had a Weikert Ford in our back yard. I'll miss these guys!
